After laying awake many nights about how I was going to make this monkey cake look good. The birthday party had arrived and with all we had to get done the day of I now had two hours to get both cakes decorated and myself and Jack ready. Rick helped me cut the cakes for the donuts to be added. After filling the cakes with icing I realized that the ears needed to be double stacked to really have the effect I was going for. I started with Jack's cake first as it was a lot smaller and if I messed up it would not be as noticable. As it turned out I got them both done in about 45 minutes and I was happy with them for the most part. Jack's was so much cuter as it was tiny.
