Handy Daddy

On Sunday Robert was feeling creative and the need to work with tools. He wanted to make Jack something to play with and decided wood blocks would be the perfect thing. He first came up with 10 blocks that were perfectly square which I am sure took a lot of time. I was worried about the sharp edges and so he went back to the workshop to find a solution. He came back up awhile later with 10 little blocks that were all rounded on the edges! Jack was so excited to have something to build with. I think we will paint them next weekend so he can learn his letters and numbers while playing.
We are pretty tired from the busy weekend, Jack summed up the weekend best by falling asleep in his highchair at dinner. Too bad you can't put a baby to bed with noodles all over them, we had to wake him up to bath him off and by that time there was no going back to sleep!
